Reseña

Days of Sacrifice, Glory and Hope is the title of this portrait of reality from the perspective of an exceptional human being, proud of his roots and with no emotional baggage or complexes which bar spiritual growth.
The days narrated by the author are faithful reflections of a life of selflessness untarnished by the venom of bitterness, contemplating at all times that true sacrifice is renouncing all things every day. These days of glory, yield no ground to conceit but rather promote the understanding that one cannot build one’s future spurred by ambition, rather on those days when hope is ever kindled by righteous awareness. This motivational book can be a good guide to create awareness of the importance of discipline to attain success in a profession as demanding as being a professional baseball player. The book illustrates, by way of anecdotes, that firm conviction and strength of spirit are needed to attain desired goals.
Of all this book’s sections, I particularly recommend the chapter on “Scouting.” This subject, developed with great professionalism, will be a great aid to rookie scouts who want to do a good job in the quest for new talents for professional baseball. I believe that this part should be obligatory reading for anyone wanting to professionally and responsibly practice the art of discerning if someone has the tools required to be considered a good candidate to sign as a professional ball player.
