10 key points for risk management in churches of the 21st century
This book focuses on a challenging proposal for Christian churches of the 21st century, which must migrate from a traditional model and take stock of the plurality, diversity, changes, and trends that impact it, including comprehensive risk management. It is necessary to adapt our people, methods, infrastructure, supplies, measurements and be attentive to the environment, to what the times demand. When risks are not managed, you are exposed to drift.
With this work, it is proposed a simplified model of particular risk management for churches; and the behavior of this internal control topic in the Dominican Republic is reviewed, to under‐stand how it has been applied, what importance is given to it, and reflect on how the referred model can be applied. This has been the result of research carried out by the author, where she inte‐grates knowledge and experiences in industrial engineering and religious sciences.
