“Alcrea, the State of Crowoa’s first and only colony, fell to otherworldly beasts that appeared seemingly out of nowhere as the moon reached its peak. Those who survived abandoned their values as law and order collapsed. Others were transformed by the darkness that swept over the land, causing their blood and skin to turn into something wicked. Gensa Lasvatt was one of the unlucky few afflicted by the dark's touch and became an outcast on a dying island far from home.

Her faith had been shaken, and accepting her new body would test her. Though hope was faint, a new path formed before her as she reached her destination — a path that would decide the fates of many as she wandered through the ruins, encountering all manner of allies and foes.
