The textbook English 5, Serie Tenaz Secundaria, is aimed at boys and girls who are enrolled in the Fifth Grade Second cycle of Secondary Education, this book is accompanied with audio and its corresponding teacher’s book.
The methodology of Inglés Serie Tenaz Secundaria integrates the four skills of speaking, listening, reading, and writing, as well as giving great emphasis on oral comprehensible input, to promote the communicative function of the language, supported by the integration of general culture.
Both the audio CD and the teacher’s book have been conceived as part of English Serie Tenaz Secundaria to support the teacher’s work in the classroom. Helping them achieve a better job in encouraging teenagers to get competencies in the target language.
Each unit begins with an image and a brief text to spark students´ critical thinking and opinion. In each one of them, there are activities aimed at encouraging conversation and the acquisition of new vocabulary, supported by topics appealing to young’s people interests.
Finally, the teacher’s book that accompanies the material is a tool that presents the most probable answer to the exercises and activities presented in the series. As well as some guidelines to direct the lessons.
