There was a time in my life when I didn’t even know
change was coming. I was like a caterpillar, crawling
through life, stuck in a rhythm I didn’t question. I
didn’t realize it then, but I was about to undergo a
transformation that would completely reshape my world.
I spent most of my life just surviving—like a
caterpillar inching through the dirt, never imagining
the wings that could someday carry me to places I had
never dreamed of. But, as with every butterfly, some-
thing had to die in order for something new to be born.
This isn’t the kind of death where there’s no coming
back. It’s the death of the old you—the one shaped by
fear, desires, and limiting beliefs. It’s the kind of death
that clears the way for something new, something be-
tter. Something that I didn’t know I could become.
I wasn’t the only one to ask about rebirth. In the book
of John, a man named Nicodemus came to Jesus at night
with his own questions. He wanted to know how someone
could be born again. Jesus’s answer was simple: “Unless
one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
