The textbook English 4, Serie Eficaz, is aimed at children who are enrolled in the Fourth Grade of the Second Cycle of the Primary Education. This series is accompanied with audio and its corresponding teacher´s book.
The book has been conceived as a tool to support our children in their learning of a second language, in this case English, and thus achieve their comprehensive education. Taking into account that in this stage of their life is when the greatest potential for the development of the basic skills of the child is achieved and promote the development of the core competences and the deployment of their cognitive, language, physical-motor and socio-emotional capacities. Consequently, the methodology used has privileged oral comprehension and expression, to promote the communicative function of the language, as well as the development of writing and interpersonal relationships, supported by the integration of knowledge areas.
Both the audio CD and the teacher’s book have been conceived as part of Serie Eficaz to support the teacher’s work in the classroom. Therefore, in this material you will find timely tools to encourage a suitable environment and learning situation for the age of the target group.
