The textbook English 1 Primary Education is aimed at children of 6 years of age who are enrolled in the First Grade of the First Cycle of the Primary Level.
The book has been conceived as a tool to support our children in their learning of another language, in this case English, and thus achieve their comprehensive education. Taking into account that in these six years of life is when the greatest potential for development of the basic skills of the child is achieved, to promote the development of the core competencies and the deployment of their cognitive, language, physical-motor and socio-emotional capacities. Consequently, the methodology used has privileged oral comprehension and expression to promote the communicative function of the language, as well as the development of graphomotor skills, writing and interpersonal relationships, supported by the integration of knowledge areas.
